Privacy Notice
1. Data controller
La Histórica Cantina de Autor, located at Av. Damián Carmona 8, Historic Downtown, 78000, facing Plaza Fundadores, Ipiña Building, San Luis Potosí, S.L.P. ("La Histórica"), is responsible for the processing and protection of your personal data, in compliance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and applicable regulations.
2. Personal data we collect
- Identification and contact: name, phone, email.
- Reservation and dining: date, party size, preferences, occasion and comments.
- Billing (only if you request an invoice): tax ID, business name, address and tax regime.
- Video surveillance: images captured by security cameras at our premises, for safety purposes.
- Browsing data: technical data generated when using this site (see section 6).
3. Sensitive data
We do not collect sensitive personal data. If you voluntarily share information about allergies or dietary restrictions, it will be used solely to better serve you during your visit.
4. Primary purposes
- Manage and confirm reservations, events and customer service.
- Process payments and, where applicable, issue invoices.
- Handle questions, comments, suggestions or complaints.
- Ensure the safety of people and premises.
- Comply with legal and tax obligations.
5. Secondary purposes
Additionally, and only if you do not object, we may use your data to send information about promotions, events, news and satisfaction surveys. To opt out, contact us at the email in section 8.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
This site may use cookies, web beacons and pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel and Google tools) for analytics, functionality and advertising improvement. These technologies may collect data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and time on site. You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may be affected.
7. Data transfers
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent, except to service providers (e.g., reservation, billing or messaging platforms) and in the cases set out in article 37 of the LFPDPPP or when required by a competent authority.
8. Your rights (ARCO) and withdrawal of consent
You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object (ARCO rights) to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, email contacto@lahistorica.mx stating: (i) your name and contact; (ii) the right you wish to exercise; and (iii) a clear description of the data involved. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.
9. Security measures
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorized access.
10. Changes to this notice
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Notice. Any change will be posted on this page with the date of its last update.
